Hi everybody. I'm writing to you about a problem I've been having lately. I started using The Dude to scan my network, due to a possible infiltration by some stealthy user.
I've been using The Dude to scan my home network for years. Suddenly, I'm having connection issues due to a loopback. The network go down caused by The Dude when it tries to scan the modem network, upstream of the router.
My topology is modem<->router<->PC's. Both, modem, and router all have router functionality with their own LAN and WLAN. I use the modem network for work devices and the router network for home devices.
This wasn't happening before. What could be happening and how do I fix it? I temporarily disabled Dude's services.
