Yesterday I was starting to setup my CRS317 (RouterOS 7.18.2).
After connecting the router to a PC interface having an 192.168.88.x address I could access the router.
At first login I had to change the PW good action. After that the default action seems to be use ‘Quick Set’.
That was not my intention but since my final goal is to use the CRS317 as a switch and as backup router (my normal router is pfSense), I thought 'lets try'
So the first decision to make is router or bridge (I assume = switch). I thougt lets try router.
I was far from convinced by the 'quickset wizzard' but that is not the problem.
The problem is that I had to login after using quickset .... and ..... no way to enter the firewall
- not with the just defined password and
- not with 'no password'
So I really wonder what is going on / how to log in there !
Note that I switched to the normal advanced mode, but never the less I am very curious how to solve this !!

Note that it is also very very strange that you have to login twice first in the expected login screen and than another time in a next 'more modern' screen.
