Hi everyone, sorry for my English, I tried to search, but I don't know the term to search for.
I have two 750 routeboards physically connected in lan with private ip
rb1 and rb2,
ip rb1=192.168.1.1 - lan1
ip rb2=192.168.1.2 - lan1
bridge rb1 lan 2 to 5
bridge rb2 lan 2 to 5
in rb1, I have the pppoe client with a subnet of public static ip, I can't use the public static ip with the devices connected to rb2, while, I have 3 pcs connected with public static ip in rb1 (and they work)
rb2 gets internet from rb1,
my operator tells me that to use the public ip I have to deactivate the nat.
in rb2, I have a nat masquerade, out-interface ether1 (port connected to rb1), route 0.0.0.0/0 gw 192.168.1.1
while in rb1 I have a nat src-nat for local ips and nothing for public ips
I can't figure out how to route the static public ips that I use in the computers connected to the lan ports of rb2
can you help me?
thank you so much
