my situation is not so on topic, but i'm using a rm520n-glaa with waveshare adapter m.2/ethernet in a hap ax3 with usb3 cable.
It was very simple to setup, the worst think was the ipex connections....why so small????
I'm planning to use it with ethernet link, because the hap ax3 usb3 port works in 2.1....the same cable/adpter in a pc works in usb3.1.
Rural place i'm using hapax3 has no 5g (only lte) so even usb2 is good...ethernet in future will be better.
Another strange behaviour is about at-chat command, some AT commands receive ok from putty->serial, but error from winbox terminal using at-chat syntax
