@sbert, do you have a specific issue you're trying to address using dedicated flow?

Dedicated flow relies on the capabilities of the user equipment and the services provided by the MNO. Some advanced 5G devices may support it but it's not a common feature on consumer devices equipped with chips like the Quectel RG520F.

If operating in NSA mode, where the EPC control plane is located in the "old" 4G/LTE core which then manages the flow parameters, flexibility might be somewhat limited compared to SA. However, even in SA mode limitations might exist depending MNO capabilities and what you want to controll like latency, bandwidth etc. It may also be limited due to natural causes such as bandwidth constraints in rural areas and similar restrictions, as well as the specific features that the NMO has decided to make accessible to the end-user depending on the service level you are paying for.

For more detailed information, check what your MNO has to offer.
