I have a Cisco router at one site followed by a CRS504, which goes two ways (office - CRS312 to endpoints) and (ground floor - study CRS304 - Living room - CRS304 to endpoints).
Whenever I back data up from my workstation to the server (both on CRS312 fiber connection, SMB/CIFS backup protocol), IPTV starts crashing, the rest of the network works well at that time and I can browse or watch the same IPTV normally on a different device.
I've discovered the traffic from the 312 goes to 504 as well for some reason instead of locally. Copy pasting works normally sometimes and other times it's slow (internet vs local). Minutes apart.
Tracert confirms the traffic is going locally and the only point is end device. Same gateway/DNS, both on static, so in theory, it should work normally.
I'm planning to replace the 312 with a 518 next week and see if that helps.
The issue has persisted through several firmware upgrades.
