I have been running an hAP ax3 router as my home router for more than a year now.
At some point, after an update, Wi-Fi started misbehaving (frequent disconnects, low throughput), and everything was fixed by downgrading to 7.14.3. As in, I have verified that upgrading to the next RouterOS version introduces the Wi-Fi issues again.
This is widely reported (1) (2) (3), I'm not looking for confirmation of a faulty unit or anything like that.
What I'm wondering is... where are we at? I have been following changelogs and those usual forum posts, and haven't seen anything to the effect of restoring correct Wi-Fi functionality. At the same time, I only have one of these units, and it's a production unit (i.e., it handles the Internet connection that pays my bills by means of enabling my full remote job![:D]( "Very Happy")
), so I'm not too keen on testing on myself with the risk of having to downgrade again in the mid of a workday (the issue doesn't always show up immediately!)
So any other people running the hAP ax3? In your experience, do the latest firmware versions solve the issue?
